UK iPhones
UK iPhone tariffs are now available from Vodafone, O2, Orange and Tesco.
These tariffs will all be added into the database allowing easy side-by-side comparisons with other tariffs, but for now download the table in one of the following formats ...

Rather than respond with recommendations here are some facts and figures you can see in the tables.
- The Orange 30 (24 month) contract is the lowest monthly rental tariff - and with a free 8GB 3G handset. But, note this also only includes 150 voice minutes and 75 texts each month.
- The Orange also offer the cheapest handset on PAYG (£333 for an 8GB 3g model).
- However, the Orange FUP appears to be the most restricted as it applies to 3G and BT Openzone wifi usage, and is capped at 750MB. The O2 FUP appears much better as it is "unlimited".
- Tesco are the only operator currently offering 12 month contracts.
- The Tesco service is provided using the O2 mobile network.
-
Comparing the 4 operators offerings on the newest 32GB 3GS models with 24-month contracts makes them all rather evenly matched.
- Tesco offer unlimited voice minutes and texts for £60/month and an initial handset charge of £50.
- Vodafone offer 600 voice minutes and unlimited texts for £35/month and an initial handset charge of £179. This also includes free Vodafone to Vodafone calls.
- Orange offer 600 voice minutes and 500 texts for £35/month and an initial handset charge of £175.
- O2 offer 600 voice minutes and 500 texts for £35/month and an initial handset charge of £179.
They are all very close and ultimately choices are likely are to be based on individual circumstances.
